Writer of Ball State: Spenser

Photo by Elisabeth BuckThis week’s #writersofballstate post features Spenser, a Public Communications major, who spoke about his decision to write under a tree outside Bracken Library: “We’re reading this book called ‘Zen Presentations.’ It’s by this dude who’s awesome at presenting stuff, and he suggests that you should come out and sketch your ideas and do all that on pen and paper before you ever come to a computer. I think it helps with creativity, and I just wanted to try it out. Because normally I would use a computer, but I really don’t like sitting and looking at a computer screen all day. So, it’s nice. I’m really enjoying it, to be honest.”
